Dress Code

We'd love you to wear whatever makes you feel great. Having googled wedding dress codes we feel 'smart casual' best fits the bill.

It's worth mentioning there is a rather steep, but short, grassy path up to the church and we will be walking through a working stables.

Arrival Time

Please arrive at 12:15 for a 12:30 start.

Parking at the church

There's limited parking space available at the church, and no official car park, so please park wherever you see fit. 

Hymn

We will be singing a hymn during the church service. For those of you unfamiliar with hymns, but keen to take part, here is a link to the hymn for you to practice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CFhYi5KHCM . The lyrics will be provided on the day.

Parking at the pub (The Compasses Inn)

Carparking spaces at the front of the pub are limited. They have an over-flow car park 300m up the hill toward Sutton Mandeville. Consider car sharing with others and please don't park in laybys or on the road.

Pub Lunch

We will be eating outside, but under cover, so if the weather is a little fresh we advise you bring layers to keep warm. The pub provides blankets.

Taxis Home

We will be providing taxis home after lunch for those who've enjoyed themselves too much to drive. You will just need to collect your car from the pub the following morning.

Photography

We won't have an official wedding photographer so please take lots of photos and we'd love it if you could share them with us.
